How do you charge rent?
We charge rent in one of two ways depending on the tenant's circumstances:
- Affordable rent: is charged at 70% to 80% of the market rent for the property.
- Income Related Rent: is set at 25% of income for those on the Public Housing Register, as assessed by the Ministry of Social Development.
What is your application process?
When we receive your completed application, you will be placed on our waiting list. We will send a letter acknowledging that we have received your application. We will schedule a face-to-face interview only when we know we have an upcoming vacancy.
Can I choose the area I'd like to live in?
Yes. You can choose the area you'd prefer, where we have houses. Our homes are located in Nelson and Richmond. See our houses for details.
Do you allow pets?
We don't allow cats or dogs at any of our rental homes. However, you may be allowed a bird or other small pet. Please inquire with us first.
Do your homes have garages?
Some of our homes have garages and some don't. Those that don't have allocated carparks.
Do you have any standalone homes?
All our homes are in clusters of 3 to 12 homes.
